My name is Kayla Adams, and I am currently the teacher for all high school math classes here at MCVS. I am from Monroe County and currently reside here with my husband and our four children. I attended Monroe County Schools as a student before attending Tennessee Wesleyan College (now Tennessee Wesleyan University) to obtain my bachelor's in Math Education. After graduating from TWC, I returned to Monroe County as a teacher, and this is my 14^th year of teaching in the Monroe County School System. My entire goal as a math teacher is to help students see that with a little bit of effort, they can gain a better understanding of the concepts and be successful in a math class. Math is not about the numbers and letters, it's about the thought process and the perseverance it takes to complete the tasks.

Office hours: 8am to 3pm (Emails are checked between 8:15am and 2:30pm)

In person help: Available by appointment. Appointments are 55minutes each starting at 9am.
